The constructed wheelchair in Looking Forward, is also suggestive of other forms of immobilization, not physical but mental, political and economical.

This powerful piece does not only underline the degree of passivity with which people were struck in Cyprus in 2013 after suffering a debt crisis almost overnight. On a more optimistic level, Looking Forward is a reminder to viewers that sensitization is a priority in our age, and imagining another world surfacing for and with those whom are rigorously tied down is a direct leap ahead.
